Frozen (2011)

Actually, after seein'  "Blood night: the legend of Mary Hatchett" I had serious doubts about watching another movie by director Adam Green.  Luckily Frozen is a whole different kind of horror flick than the rather predictable gory slasher series Hatchet.  With a minimal cast he really tries hard to bring back the glory days of the psychological horrormovie. Unfortunately, Green fails in delivering the goods. The storyline advances way to slow in the first 30 minutes or so.  The movie itself tells the tale of three teens who experience a horrific ski adventure while beein' stuck in an elevator some 20 meters above the ground. Most of the time, I ve been watching at three kids stuck in an elevator. Not very tensful nor horrific. On the other hand, I have to admit this movie wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. It's watchable for one time at least.  Everyday horror in a family pack.
